Horizontal Layered- a very big bowl

Following on from my first very big bowl, I wanted to explore a more bulbous form. The external surface is finished with strips of textured, patterned and some coloured fabric (remnants from other bowls) then wrapped in string. The effect from a distance is ceramic. The eye, questioning the texture. Will it be hard or soft to the touch?
The internal surface is of the crinkled detail of a curly palm frond images applied to
linen.
