Textures of Paddington- Very large bowl

Working in Paddington for years, I became ‘blind’ to the street scape.
I decided to be a visual hunter and stalked the streets of the neighbourhood, camera in hand capturing the textures that are the waft and weft of Paddington: signs, footpaths, utility access panels, ironwork, trees, leaves, stonework, clouds.
I wanted to make my first over scale bowl .The outside of the bowl is finished in a ‘stonework’ of linen; the inside representing the mosaic life of Paddington
