Phoenix Crater- grey and white

The bowls began life as trees, cellulose, paper, documents, archives with a ‘ destroy by date’.
Shredded, soaked in water, mulched, mixed with medium then gently moulded into dinosaur egg forms and other organic forms, they begin their new life as Phoenix.

The George Collection

Recycled Nespresso coffee pod contents, the ground coffee is oven dried then mixed with 
medium and moulded into decorative coffee ‘cups’. I use take away coffee cups as the mould.
The surface pattern is dried Yarra flats painted in white.
